Nicki Minaj Is Sick Of Being Portrayed As The Villain

After dropping two new songs, "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz," Nicki Minaj sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe, where she explained the controversy behind "Motorsport," her collab with Migos and Cardi B and why her feelings were hurt after the track's release.

"The only thing with Cardi that really, really, really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after ‘MotorSport’ came out. With ‘MotorSport,’ I kinda felt ambushed," Nicki explained. The first thing that came out of her mouth about a Nicki Minaj feature was ‘she changed the verse’ … When it was time to clear the air about that, no one did that. All of them allowed me to look like I lied.”

Minaj continued: “Up until this recent interview that she did, I had never seen her show me genuine love," Minaj said with tears forming in her eyes. "I could just imagine how many girls wish they could have been on a song with Nicki Minaj. I’m not saying in it a cocky way, but yikes … It’s because of the Nicki hate train that she felt like she could speak about me in that manner."

She also talked about how she felt ambushed after the release of "Motorsport" and that Quavo and Cardi B would allow her to look like the villain. "It hurt my feelings to know that people would watch me be slaughtered and not one person will step in to say the truth. They will run with that lie because it's entertaining to make Nicki seem like a bad guy," she said.

Nicki took to Twitter last night calling out Cardi and Quavo for their alleged hypocrisy. "How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request," she asked. "So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn’t “change” my verse?"
