Bad Boy vs. So So Def Verzuz looks like that is coming down the pike. People were speculating this momentous moment for the culture when Jermaine Dupree and Diddy alluded to this on a previous IG Live, but it wasn’t confirmed. This weekend, J.D announced on stage at the “One Music Fest, “I’m saying this to let ya’ll know, the So So Def and Bad Boy Verzuz is happing”.
On the show, we’re interesting to see how deep will J.D and Diddy go into their discography. We wonder will there be a heavy focus on R&B, Hip-Hop, or both? Both record labels were established in 1993 and have a longevity like no other! So So Def has hits from Mariah Carey, Bow Wow, Xscape, Kris Kross, Anthony Hamilton and more, whereas Bad Boy has hits from Biggie, Mase, Lil Kim, 112, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana and more.
