Breakfast Club Reacts To Joe Biden Picking Kamala Harris As Running Mate

After months of speculation on who Joe Biden would be selecting as his running mate to take on Donald Trump and Mike Pence in the 2020 Presidential election, last night Biden revealed that he had selected Senator Kamala Harris as his VP. Taking to his twitter he called her one of the country's "finest public servants" and that he is proud to have her on the campaign trail with him.

"I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate. Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I'm proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign."

Former President Barack Obama also chimed in on the announcement expressing that he 100% backs the decision of Kamala for VP:

I’ve known Senator @KamalaHarris for a long time. She is more than prepared for the job. She’s spent her career defending our Constitution and fighting for folks who need a fair shake. This is a good day for our country. Now let’s go win this thing.

This morning on The show Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God broke down the announcement and shared their own personal opinions and reflected on the past times she had been on the show

"Im more than a little excited I'm riding with Senator Kamala Harris I'm excited to vote for her in November, to everyone who has questions about her should continue to question, should continue to make demands for policy commitments but please understand we got work to do, I think that Senator Harris is the one." - Charlamagne

Senator Harris is also making history as she is the first Black woman and the first Asian-American on a major party presidential ticket!
