Emerging Hollywood is the brand new show from The Hollywood Reported hosted by Charlamagne Tha God where he dives in with celebrity guests sharing their views on topics including inclusion, racial politics, gender and body positivity.
This week on the show Charlamagne Tha God sat down with Alan Yang, the Emmy award winning co-creator/director of 'Master of None' and 'Forever,'!
In chapter one of this weeks episode the two spoke about the various writers rooms that Yang has worked in and how its important to have a diverse set of writers on these shows, "You got to hire the best people, and ideally you find people who are totally different then you and better than you."
In the second chapter Yang describes about how culture effects the way that we behave, and how the the similarities (and differences) in Asian and Black men/women experience in Hollywood and throughout the US.
"Master of None" has been not only a home run for Netflix, but for Yang to earning itself 6 Emmy nominations and one win! The one questions on everyones mind about the show is "Will there be a season 3?"
