Here's Everyone That Sampled Biggie's 'Just Playing (Dreams)'

Hold up! Let’s take it back to 1993 when The Notorious B.I.G released his promotional single, “Just Saying (Dreams)” which includes a sample from James Brown 1971 self-produced, “Blues and Pants” and pokes fun at Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige.

Fun fact: the shocking lyrics made an appearance on Blige’s “What’s The 411?” Remix which featured K-Co and Puff Daddy. Furthermore, just 3 year’s later, Hip Hop sensation Lil Kim released her version of the songs.

In 2015, Lil Kim’s fellow Brooklyn-native, Young M.A dropped her “Dreams Freestyle” from her debut, 13-track mixtape, “Sleep Walkin.” And here comes Nicki Minaj with “Barbie Dreams” from her 4th studio album, Queen.”

Who did it better?
