YouTube Shooter Was Fed Up With Being Censored On Her Channel

Charlamagne gives Donkey Of The Day to the YouTube Shooter A.K.A. 39-year-old Nasim Najafi Aghdam who shot three people after she opened fire at the YouTube campus in San Bruno, CA before killing herself. The San Diego resident was furious with the platform for demonetizing videos on her channel, where she posted bizarre videos of her exercising, dancing in a cow mask, and her protesting at Animal Rights gatherings. On her website, she proudly called herself a female vegan bodybuilder and animal rights activist. Aghfam also posted a video where she said that YouTube was censoring her but not censoring the videos of Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj. CNN reports that she accused ""close-minded" YouTube employees of putting an age restriction on videos, saying it's aimed at reducing views and discouraging the woman from making new videos."

"This woman has to be mentally ill because I refuse to believe people care about the internet and these social sites that much," Charlamagne said during The Breakfast Club. "For you to be that invested in the internet and a social site that you would take a handgun down to YouTube and shoot people because they were censoring your videos...why are you pulling up to YouTube like rappers used to pull up on record labels in the 90s," he continued.

"Why not go to YouTube and ask to speak to someone. Ask why some of your videos are being censored and some aren't. Did you even attempt to go to the Help Center? I really hope it comes out that this young lady was suffering her whole life from some mental illness because if we have jumped the shark that much when it comes to this internet thing, it is time for everybody to unplug. Disconnect from the internet and reconnect with reality."
