Gov. Rauner Drinks Chocolate Milk To Symbolize His Commitment To Diversity

Charlamage awards today's Donkey of The Day to Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, who attended a Black History Month event in Chicago this past weekend. At the event, the governor was called upon to take part in a demonstration to represent diversity in the workplace by speaker Tyronne Stoudemire.

As an analogy, Stoudemire poured a glass of milk to represent the white men who lead most organizations in Illinois, and then added a dash of chocolate syrup to represent diversity. He asked Rauner to mix the chocolate milk. “Diversity is the mix, and inclusion is making the mix work,” Stoudemire said, concluding his demonstration. “It’s really, really good,” Rauner said after taking a sip. “Diversity!”

Hmm... Listen to the segment below to hear for yourself.
