Hurricane Chris Charged With Second-Degree Murder

Hurricane Chris hasn't made headlines this big in a while.

The two-hit wonder artist has basically been ghost in the rap game since his 2009 track "Halle Berry (She's Fine)." Over a decade later, he found the spotless once again. This time for a murder charge.

The rapper was arrested in Louisiana for the death of Danzeria O. Farris Jr. Reports from Shreveport Police Department explain gun shots rang out on Friday at 1 a.m. at a Texaco gas station. Police were called to the scene where they found the 32-year-old riddled with bullets, who unfortunately died later at the Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Hospital.

ChrisChris (Christopher J. Dooely) was identified as the shooter, but claimed he was acting out of self-defense because his car was allegedly getting stolen. The problem with that story is there's video surveillance that showed a completely different story. Specific details about what was seen on the footage hasn't been revealed, but it was enough to lock the rapper up for second-degree murder. Not only that, but the vehicle Hurricane Chris was claiming to be his was actually reported stolen from Texas.
