September 20th, 2022, Donkey of The Day goes to Goes to Sherri Papini. A California woman that faked her kidnapping in 2016. Papini, then 33 years old, claimed she was tortured and abducted by two Latina women for 22 days. The now 40-year-old Papini has admitted that her story was all false. The judge ruled Papini to serve a 18 month sentence for lying to federal agents and mail fraud. This lie gave her a bill of $310,000 in restitution and today’s Donkey Of The Day!
