Breakfast Club Reacts To School's Cotton Picking Project For Black Students

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is today’s Donkey Of The Day! Rashunda Pitts a parent of a 14 year old at LAUSD, is suing the school district for emotional distress. According to Charlamagne, Pitts filed a grievance on the school district as they were “Culturally Insensitive”. An elementary school teacher in the district, assigned her daughters class a project that required black students to pick cotton. Since the event, Pitts says her daughter has began to experiencing anxiety attacks and other symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
