Nun gets year in prison for stealing $835,000 from school for gambling

Donkey Of The Day For Thursday, February 10th goes out to a Los Angeles nun/school principal for stealing over $800,000 from the school to fun their gambling addiction. Mary Margaret Kreuper who is 80 years old admitted to stealing the money over a 10 year period from 2008-2018 while she was the principal at St. Jame Catholic School in LA.

Pleading guilty to one count of wire fraud and money laundering she has been sentenced to 1 year in federal prison and has been ordered to pay back the school $835,000 as restitution.
