Celebrities Align To Help 'Free Rodney Reed'

Kim Kardashian-West is one of many celebrities who've joined the fight to help Rodney Reed.

The "Free Rodney Reed" battle began when social media caught wind of a man who's been proclaiming his innocence while sitting on death row for over 20 years. As his November 20th execution date quickly approaches, the public has been scrambling to gather as much support to prevent an innocent man from losing his life.

Kim spoke to Rodney, personally, before setting out her lobby of support. TMZ reported the socialite-turned-civil servant believes there are more witnesses and evidence that can prove Reed is not guilty of the heinous rape and murder of Stacey Stites in Bastrop, Texas. Not only is there potential to exonerate the 51-year-old, but the possible actual killer could be caught. Kim tweeted Texas governor, Greg Abbott:

Arthur Snow is a former inmate who filed a statement claiming it was Stacey's own fiance who murdered her out of a cheating rage. He alleges the man admitted it to Snow while incarcerated for a different crime.

More light of attention has shone towards the truth as stars like Rihanna, Yara Shahidi, Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J have spoken out about the injustice through social media.
