Charlamagne gives Donkey Of The Day for Tuesday, April 17th, to Fox News' and radio host Sean Hannity for being revealed as a client of Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen. Hannity defended Cohen multiple times on his show, saying the investigation against him was a "witch hunt" before the host was identified as a client. So why didn't he tell his audience that? Ever heard of the word "integrity?" Hannity should have come clean from the start and said he was a client of Cohen's. Sean Hannity has been compromised - how can his loyal followers take anything he says as truth from now on?
Hannity has since denied being a client of Cohen's, tweeting, "Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective."
"I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third-party."
"In response to some wild speculation, let me make clear that I did not ask Michael Cohen to bring this proceeding on my behalf, I have no personal interest in this proceeding, and, in fact, asked that my de minimis discussions with Michael Cohen, which dealt almost exclusively about real estate, not be made a part of this proceeding."
Michael Cohen paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 of his own money to keep her from talking about her alleged sexual encounter with Trump before the 2016 election.
