In the third episode of Your Hair Talks. Make A Statement. series by John Frieda, Angela Yee recalls a time in her youth when she had to cut her hair.
As a child, her parents left her alone with her brother for five minutes. In those five minutes her brother put gum in her hair and then used peanut butter to take it out. That did not work but a young boy doesn’t give up easily, he would put ice on it to freeze it. That didn't work either, so what would he do next? Logically if the gum doesn’t come out then he would have to cut her hair. He cut off her hair just in time for their mother to come back in and start crying at the sight of Angela's botched hair.
