Max B proposed to his longtime girlfriend just 24 hours after his release from prison.
The Wave God popped the question at a private dinner on Monday night, November 10. In a video shared on social media, you can see Max B, born Charly Wingate, kiss his devoted partner before giving her a diamond engagement ring. According to AllHipHop, the couple initially got hitched while the Harlem rapper was incarcerated. However, it looks like Max B wanted to give his lady an authentic proposal outside of the jail walls. Their engagement was just the cherry on top of Max B's first taste of freedom.
After finally walking out of prison on Monday, Max B did everything that he's been dying to do for over a decade. Upon meeting his friend French Montana at the prison's gate, the Biggaveli rapper got dressed up in Louis Vuitton from head to toe and hit up the New York Jets game. He spotted on the field by Method Man, who snapped his photo as the Jets' official photographer.
Later on, Max B attended French Montana's 41st birthday dinner at Moroccan hotspot Ayah Restaurant in New York City. French was accompanied by his fiancée, Princess Sheikha Mahra of Dubai, as well as UK rapper Central Cee. After the festivities at Ayuh, French and Max hit up the studio together to record in person for the first time in years. On his Instagram, French boasted about the moment and teased the next installment of their Coke Wave series.
