Pusha T and Malice continue to honor their late parents in their powerful new music video.

On Tuesday, September 30, Clipse released their emotional visuals for their song "The Birds Don't Sing" featuring John Legend. The Brendan O’Connor-directed video opens with the Thornton Brothers helping Push's young son put flowers on the grave of their mother, Mildred. It also features throwback photos from their family's archive and powerful scenes of Clipse rapping their verses from the living room of their parents' home in Virginia Beach. After showing the Voices of Fire singing in church and other imagery related to their childhood, Clipse close out the video with footage of them fishing with their father, Gene.

"The Birds Don't Sing" is the first record Clipse previewed before they confirmed their reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out, was in the works. The album dropped more than three years after their parents passed away. Gene Thornton, Sr., and Mildred Thornton died just four months apart. While speaking about the album, Malice previously revealed that he's the one who discovered both of their parents after they passed.

"I found both of my parents yeah," Malice told recently told Brian "B.Dot" Miller on Cover Lines. "I discovered both of my parents going and checking on them... My faith and everything that I have read from the word of God took over. There was a supernatural sense of peace. There was no time to break down, start crying, getting out of my mind, what's going on, what's happening, you know, screaming and kicking. Nah, I had a complete sense of peace and I had to have that peace not only for myself but to deliver the news to my family. God has never let me down no matter what I faced or seen in this life."

Pusha T and Malice have honored their parents through their performances during their "Let God Sort Em Out Tour" and on late-night TV. If you haven't already, watch the music video for "The Birds Don't Sing" below.
