Cam'ron has always been nice on the mic, but he may have met his match.

On Thursday, July 17, the New York native posted screenshots from his rap battle with ChatGPT. Killa Cam went two rounds with the AI chatbot and got a few licks in, but he ultimately conceded in the third round.

"I just had a rap battle against ChatGpt and I lost," Cam'ron wrote in his caption with a sweat emoji. "N***a response was too fast. Wish I could pop on dat n***a, n***a think he know me 😂😂🤦🏾‍♂️"

The reactions to Cam's upsetting lose were hilarious to say the least. His fellow Diplomat Freekey Zekey said, "Hold on he Set the 3rd verse off wit 'Oh you think you Tuff' I’m go’n to get the gun 😂." Other artists like Styles P, Termanology, Reuben Vincent and more also weighed in on the AI-generated rap battle with legit critique on the verses and laughing emojis.

"That verse 2 is crazy 😂😂😂," Term wrote.

"Nah he walked you down," Vincent commented.

The debate over using AI in music has been a hot topic of discussion over the past couple of years. Recently, Timbaland sparked controversy when he announced his new company had signed a new AI artist named "TaTa." The A-Pop artist is driven by Suno AI and other AI-friendly tools under the umbrella of Timbo's company, Stage Zero. While Timbaland claimed it's the start of something bigger, other hitmakers like Young Guru opposed the idea and spoke out about allowing AI to take control of the music industry.

We'll see if Cam'ron plans to face off with ChatGPT in a rematch.
