Joshua Humbert Is One Of Seven Black Men With A Masters In Philanthropy

We got Joshua Humbert in the building to donate to our Change 4 Change Radiothon. As a philanthropist Humbert always put other before himself until he realized he needs to take care of himself before he can really help others. "I just started therapy in January, I've gone every week," says Humbert. The reason he started going? "It's trying to take care of everybody else and then I recognized you have to bring your whole self, and I wasn't bringing my whole self... I recognized at the end of the day if you're going to give advice you have to be able to unpack your own stuff."

This year we are donating the funds from our Change 4 Change Radiothon to Project 375. Founded in 2012 by NFL wide-receiver Brandon Marshall and his wife Michi, Project 375 is a national non-profit dedicated to educating people like your parents and teachers on youth mental health.

Humbert has made it more clear how important it is to figure out your own issues and mental health before you can be there for others. Today is not only Change 4 Change day it is also National Philanthropy Day. Watch Humbert's interview above to get a better idea of how you can be philanthropic even if you don't have the money.
