Donald Trump Thanks Kanye West For His Support: "Very Cool"

President Donald Trump has personally thanked rapper Kanye West for his support on Twitter. On Wednesday, April 25th, the Life Of Pablo rapper tweeted his love of Trump, saying, "You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone.

"I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought," the tweet concluded.  

Trump quote tweeted the rapper and added, "Thank you Kanye, very cool!" 

West raised many eyebrows in the hip-hop community over the past few days after revealing his support of right-wing personality Candance Owens, generating support from a conservative base that once ridiculed the Grammy-winning artist.

Kanye West also tweeted a photo of himself wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat with YouTube's Global Head of Music Lyor Cohen 

He also tweeted out a photo of his "Make America Great Again" hat that had been signed by Donald Trump himself. 

After his initial tweet supporting Trump, West clarified his statements after his wife Kim Kardashian urged him to. "My wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone," he tweeted. "I don't agree with everything Trump does. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself."

Kim Kardashian said that her opinions on Trump differ from Kanye's bit defended his right to have the opinion. "I believe in people being able to have their own opinions, even if really different from mine. He never said he agrees with his politics," she said. 

Donald Trump Jr. quote tweeted Kim Kardashian and added the jokingly added the hashtag #ImWithHer, Hillary Clinton's campaign slogan in the 2016 election. 

Trump met Kanye in 2016 at Trump Tower in New York City during his presidential transition. “Just friends, just friends,” Trump said about the meeting to the press. “He’s a good man. We’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump added. 

West denied questions from reporters and said, "I just want to take a picture right now.”
